- Hospital with less than $20 million of net patient revenue: 25th percentile: $120,000
- Hospital with $20 million to $50 million of net patient revenue: 25th percentile: $164,925
- Hospital with $50 million to $100 million of net patient revenue: 25th percentile: $249,750
- Hospital with more than $100 million of net patient revenue: 25th percentile: $316,865
Notes: The survey received responses from 197 rural hospital and critical access hospitals. Sixty-eight percent of responding hospitals had between 25 beds and 100 beds, and median full-time equivalents at responding hospitals ranged from 110 to 495
